Vasnetsov Apollinariy

Âàñíåöîâ Àïîëëèíàðèé Vasnetsov Apollinary Mihailovich (1856-1933) - Russian painter-landscape writer, author of many historical landscapes of Moscow in XII-XVII centuries. His first teacher was the senior brother M. Vasnecov, the well-known painter later. Since 1883 he has been participated in exhibitions of a mobile art exhibitions company. In 1900 he has been appropriated an academician title of the Petersburg Art Academy. In 1901-1918 he taught in the school of painting, sculpturing and architecture. Since 1918 he became a head of an ancient Moscow learning commission.
